| Facial Reflexology is still
relatively new to the UK, but already patients have reported
significant benefits. Click here to

| I am one of the first nine practitioners
in the United Kingdom having trained with the renowned Lone
Sorensen Lopez who, in 2000 was presented with three World
Health Organisation Nobility prizes (similar prizes have been
awarded to Mother Teresa) for her 23 years’ pioneering
work. She is the first Reflexologist in the world to achieve
this award for her work in zone therapy. |
| Lone has directed her work at
patients with disabilities and has helped patients who were
unable to walk, talk or eat, to gain or regain these faculties.
She has also helped coma patients and people suffering with
such conditions as MS, Downs Syndrome and Motor Neurone Disease.
In Denmark in 2000 her methods were approved by the Danish
Government for her work with patients with brain damage. |
| Whilst at the Clinic in Barcelona
in July, we saw an MS patient from Switzerland, wheelchair
bound for four years, walk 60 paces after only two weeks’
treatment. |
| With Facial Reflexology stimulation
it is possible to send impulses via the Central Nervous System
and the Hormonal system to the organs, improve blood circulation,
balance the body’s chemistry and treat emotional problems.
This works through the release of endorphins (the body’s
natural healing chemicals) and neurotransmitters through the
vibration of the meridians and the nerves at different levels
of the Central Nervous System. A detailed analysis of a patient’s
health can be determined. |
| This new technique, with its
origins in Oriental Medicine combines the following techniques: |
| Acupressure - stimulation
of 24 acupuncture points on the face to stimulate nerve endings,
the meridians, blood circulation and lymphatic drainage. |
| American Indian Zone Therapy
– to regulate 17 zones on the physical, chemical and
psychological levels and identify any blockages or irregularities
within the body systems. |
| Dr Chau’s Oriental
Map – connection to the main meridians and vital
organs to stimulate the general release of tension in facial
reflexes and clear any blockages within corresponding organs. |
| The Oriental/Vietnamese System
– to stimulate: |
| (a) |
the brain cortex to improve movement in the physical
limbs, major muscle groups |
| (b) |
the brain cortex to improve function of the senses
through the 12 cranial nerves |
| (c) |
the brain cortex to relieve pain and to improve pain
control |
| (d) |
the brain cortex to improve the general psychological
state |
|
| Neurological Points –
564 points on the face and cranium relating to all body areas
and organs which can be stimulated to treat both the cause
and immediate symptoms. |
